Traveling Activities For Children

Leapfrog Learn Groove Pre-school Microphone - This is kid friendly as described by one of its buyers. Its shape fits perfectly when a child holds it. It has voice amplifier which children love. It has four learning songs which are good for pre-school age kids. Songs can be played in either English or Spanish. This bilingual approach can help develop vocabulary in English and Spanish. 2010 Chinese New Year Party Ideas For Classrooms is suited for age group 24 months to 5 years.

Loretta Snyder: You recently released a children's album. What inspired you to go in this direction and are there going to be more children's albums in the future?

Tena: My girlfriend is a 3rd grade teacher and she said her students like to pick their noses in class. So I came up with a fun way to give a lesson on personal hygiene with "Booger Boogie". "The Booger Boogie" is the physical act of grabbing a tissue.

One of the most common of all is the G chord. It is an easy to learn and in a range that many people can sing comfortably. Another common one is the C chord. One of these two is in nearly half of the songs I have learned, particularly pop and kids songs. These chords are often paired with D. Another common grouping that goes with the D is the E and A chords. These are the 5 I would recommend any beginner to start with.

The funny thing about this band is that my older two used to listen to their non-kids music. Favorites include- Here Come The ABC's, No! and Here Come The 123's.

On the KoolSongs album there are three tracks that are based on books for children, and all of the songs will sing your child's name to them. So give this gift and watch as your child slips the disk into whatever music player they choose. The look on your son or daughter's face will be, as they say, priceless.

2) Music - Kids love music at this age. Play popular toddler music that they will recognize (Hot Dog, Hot Diggity Dog from the Mickey Mouse Club, the theme music to Little Einstein, Sesame Street song) and watch the kids dance!

Another thing you can do is to repeatedly play a song. Kids and adults alike, repetition makes learning easier, except that with kids, songs do not make much sense yet so they will need to listen to them often to be able to predict the melody. It is best to let them listen to songs that rhyme than no-rhyme songs because it becomes pleasant to the ear; plus, with rhyme, it is easier to guess the next word.
